Why can't I save my password?
Why can't I save my (new) password?
Symptom: Saving the (new) password does not work, the confirmation button remains grayed out.
Causes: Not all security criteria met: For a new password to be accepted and successfully saved by the system, it must fulfill all of the following criteria at the same time:
- Length: At least 12 characters
- Uppercase letter: At least one uppercase letter (A–Z)
- Lowercase letter: At least one lowercase letter (a–z)
- Number: At least one digit (0–9)
- Special character: At least one special character (e.g., !, @, #, $, %)
Tips for checking: Pay attention to the checkmarks
When entering your password, pay attention to the small symbols/checkmarks next to each criterion:
- Checkmark missing: This requirement is not yet met.
- Checkmark present: This requirement has been successfully met.
Note: The save button will only be enabled by the system once all criteria are met.
Password confirmation failed
If all criteria are met and saving still fails, please check whether the password entry and the password confirmation match exactly. Also make sure there are no accidental spaces at the beginning or end.
