Login Problems with LMS+ / Trainings doesn’t start via Invitation/Reminder email link

📋 Troubleshooting: Common Error Cases

In most cases, there is no technical defect, but rather an issue with the validity of your access or the synchronization of your data.

Case 1: Registration Link Expired

Symptom: You received an invitation to register you LMS+ account, but when you click on the link, a message appears that it is no longer valid.

• Cause: For security reasons, registration links (email/password method) are only active for 14 days.
• Solution: Please contact your internal learning manager. They have the overview within the organization and can promptly send you a new registration.

Case 2: Error Message "Cannot login, credential setup required"

Symptom: The login fails with this specific message, even though you already have access credentials.

• Cause: The original registration process was not completed fully.
• Solution: Contact your internal learning manager. They must send you a new registration link. Please complete the registration process fully. Afterwards, you can login to LMS+ and also the direct links from training invitations and reminder emails will work perfectly again.

Case 3: Error During SSO Login (Single Sign-On)

Symptom: You use your company's login button, but receive an error message.

• Cause: Something is wrong with the SSO interface connection. Either you are not correctly registered in the organization-wide SSO, or your data there does not match the information in the LMS+ participant list.
• Solution: Contact your internal learning manager. It needs to be checked whether your profile is correctly stored and synchronized.

💡Who is my "Learning Manager"?

The learning manager is typically a person from your Human Resources (HR) department, a Compliance Officer, or your direct supervisor. In some cases, the IT department can also help. This is the person or department that originally registered you for the training.
