Loading issues in Trainings
Symptoms: The training does not start properly – videos and/or images do not load – video/training "gets stuck while loading".
If the training itself, parts of the training (videos/graphics), or the next section do not load correctly, this is usually due to local technical causes. Please ask affected learners to perform the following steps — this usually resolves the issue quickly:
General Steps to Resolve Browser and Network Issues
- Reload the page: Sometimes a simple refresh of the page is sufficient (F5 key or Ctrl + F5 or the circular arrow icon in the browser).
- Clear cache and cookies: Outdated or incorrectly saved data in the browser can block access or the loading of course content.
- Try a different browser: Please test whether the problem also occurs in another up-to-date browser (e.g., Google Chrome, Microsoft Edge, Mozilla Firefox).
- Check VPN connection: If you are connected via a company VPN, please disconnect from it as a test. VPNs or intermediate proxy servers occasionally block the connection to our training servers.
- Disable pop-up blockers and ad-ons: Some extensions (e.g., ad blockers, script blockers) prevent the test from loading correctly. Please disable them temporarily or allow pop-ups for our learning platform.
- Check company restrictions & firewall: In some corporate networks, restrictive security policies prevent the loading of interactive content. If necessary, ask your internal IT department to check whether the lawpilots domains are whitelisted.
- Test on another device or network: Try starting the training on another device (e.g., smartphone/tablet) or via another network (e.g., private Wi-Fi or mobile data network) to rule out a local issue.
